Tulsi Plant (Also known as Basil)


Scientific Name : Ocimum Tenuiflorum

It is an ancient folklore saying that..............

"The person who daily eats tulsi leaves never gets any sort of breathing disorders. His lungs, heart and his whole breathing system will be healthy."


Tulsi Plant has a respectable place among medicines.It has an important value since anicient age. Indians use leaves of this plant to worship gods as well.This plant keeps our environment clean and wherever tulsi palnt is there there you won't find any flies or snakes. Tulsi makes the surrounding soil fertile where it is grown. Tulsi leaves and roots are used for medicinal purposes.Tulsi is helpful in treament of heart disorders, blood disorders, cough, pain in ribs, fever and skin diseases.


Usage of Tulsi Plant for Diseases

Cough
Mix juice of Tulsi leaves with ginger juice, onion juice and honey in equal proportions. Eat this paste daily. Soon this will cure your cough and also it will remove the accumulated cough from your body.

Loose Motion
Take half table spoon of tulsi powder, little bit of black salt and 2 table spoon of fresh yogurt. Mix them well and eat it. This will stop your loose motions and your pain will be gone.

Snake Bite
If someone is bitten by a poisonous snake then first make the person eat 2 fists full of tulsi leaves. Now, crush the roots of tulsi plant and mix it with butter. Apply this paste on the area of snake bite. Soon, you will see that colour of paste will start turning black. Keep on applying the paste. This will suck the poison out of your body. This is a very good method for Snake Bite Treatment.

Fever
Make small balls out of mixture of tulsi leaves and black pepper in equal proportions. Eat 2 balls in morning and 2 in evening. Soon, you will get relief.

Tooth Ache
Make a paste out of mixture of tulsi leaves and black peppers. Make some small balls from this paste. Keep one or two balls at a time in your mouth between teeth and gums and suck the juice. Your pain will be gone soon.
